Solarius GmbH is strengthening its engineering team in Essen and is looking for a dedicated candidate for the position of Application Engineering as soon as possible. Solarius GmbH is a specialist for automated 2D and 3D surface inspection in the industrial environment. We are part of the international Solarius Group, which was founded in 2000 in San Jose, the heart of Silicon Valley, and has locations in Europe, Asia and the USA. Our customers include international BigTech corporations as well as many other well-known companies in the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.

What tasks await you with us?

• Design of customer-specific solutions for measurement and inspection tasks.
• Feasibility studies and customer demonstrations, measurement system qualification.
• Delivery, installation, commissioning and acceptance of systems as well as training of customers.
• Evaluation and adaptation of metrology systems to worldwide market
• worldwide market requirements.
• Support in the development of new products and systems.

What do we expect from you?

• A successfully completed degree in the field of engineering or comparable training, gladly also career starters.
• Experience in the field of optical technologies, especially in optical metrology.
• Practiced handling of MS Excel, knowledge of macro programming is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel at home and abroad (Europe, Asia, USA).
• Excellent knowledge of the German and English languages, both written and spoken.
