The tool consists of multiple 2D / 3D metrology stations to measure parameters such as width, length, thickness, orientation and flatness within ultra fast cycle times. By the different measurement tasks, each executed at a dedicated station of an index table automation solution, potential sqeezing of battery packs due to oversized pack dimensions, form errors or shell defects can be detected before critical field defects occur.
